Its unique properties and truly superior quality setting it apart from other forms of leather, Italian leather is almost an exclusive material for reputable brands. No matter what type of apparel, whether it’s coats, boots, belts or purses, choosing Italian-made associates one with good taste. As to with driving gloves, now considered among the most important and fashionable accessories, both for men and women alike, Italian leather undoubtedly is of pure distinction and will always prove to be the best pick.

My fascination for leather driving gloves have acquainted me with all sorts of brands and forms of the apparel, both of good and poor quality, from the trendiest pick to the oddest choices. Recognizing how these things could add quite an unexpected edge to one’s ensemble made it a hot item and is now among the most-searched on the net. I know it’s daunting to look for the best ones when the internet is filled with nice-looking leather gloves. Sure, nice, there are plenty – - – but the big difference counts the moment your package comes in and you try your purchase out.

If you’re looking for true quality Italian leather gloves that is exactly how it says on the photos, let me help you out a bit. This Men’s Italian Lambskin Leather Driving Gloves proves to be a truly smart investment versus other driving gloves of the same price range which could not, in any way, equal in terms of quality.

I ordered the same item for my boyfriend to ride around his bike with and I was amazed myself on how well-made the gloves were even before he tried them on. He finds the thickness just perfect and he liked how it makes his hands really comfortable when he has them on. Though available in two shades, the other one in brown, I ordered for black to match his favourite black coat.

Equally as versatile, durable and of excellent workmanship, this Italian lambskin leather driving gloves are handmade.

Quite a little costly at $99.95, but if you have the money to spend for this, is indeed of great value. This is my boyfriend’s trusty second pair which, as I see it, is as overused as his other one. Can I blame him? He said he finds its stretch quite perfect and how he loves the shade of brown it comes in. This model do have a black as well, which honestly, its contrast with white stitches do not come that appealing to me.

If you’re looking for women’s leather gloves, then take your pick from among these wonderful options of Fratelli Orsini Women’s Open Back Leather Driving Gloves.

It comes in six carefully-selected colors, in which I own three. $59.95 for a pair of great-looking gloves you can wear practically with almost anything – - – I find it truly a good buy. These pairs fit perfectly and are truly comfy.

Timeless accessories like leather driving gloves deserve to be carefully chosen. Since these fashion pieces are considered investments, might as well pick Italian leather. As the material outlasts time, so does you money.

Driving gloves – - – used to be designed for the racers’ needs, though still is, is now also considered a very important fashion accessory. The beauty and functionality of driving gloves sets itself apart from other accessories that do not offer the same practicality as these things do. Not only it keeps a driver’s hands warm and comfortable while driving, it also allows for a better grip for steering wheels and bike accelerators which is necessary to keep oneself safe and in control. But as it is also used by men and women along with their fall and winter looks, its way of instantly upgrading drab outfits to strikingly eye-catching ensembles while keeping the wearer’s hand cozy is quite amazing.

Driving gloves could be made from different materials, but leather is most common. Oftentimes, they could be lined with silk, fleece, cashmere or other fabrics that ensures comfort of wear. In the past where its function was limited to driving alone, these things mostly only come in black and brown. But now, the options in colors and designs are unlimited. They come in different prices too, but mostly they are affordable. Yet, if you are looking for the Italian leather gloves, they are expected to be a bit more expensive. Getting yourself a second-owned pair of driving gloves could be a good idea too. Most owners re-sell gloves which do not have their exact fit, or do not suit their color taste or choice of fabric.

When choosing to buy used gloves, you often come across wonderful deals like getting a pair of genuine Italian leather gloves of almost brand-new condition at less than half the price. The money you will spend on purchasing a brand new gloves could buy you two pairs, or sometimes even three equally great-looking used driving gloves of the same quality. Though there are tons of places to get driving gloves like Amazon and several other online retail stores, seems like there isn’t much to look around for used driving gloves. But as Ebay has everything you need, they have quite a selection.

Used driving gloves are a way to take the functionality and practicality of this item one step further. It doesn’t always follow that one has to spend a lot to look really trendy and to feel comfy in a pair of driving gloves. Besides, it’s how they are worn that matters most.

Apart from its main function of protecting the driver’s hands and give a better grip of the steering wheel, seems like leather driving gloves of today are worn by women more of a fashion accessory. Indeed, it is my favorite fall and winter trend as it is great to wear with my leather boots, leather coats and other leather looks while keeping my hands warm and comfy. As more women are recognizing the striking appeal of this accessory, whom I have known to love for a long time now, and more are incorporating this powerful fashion item into their looks and styles, manufacturers then started making leather driving gloves of different varieties, colors, designs and materials.

But by no debate the best among all other types of leather, and is the only type of leather which gained my respect as well as the respect of the world’s big fashion brands, Italian leather is known for its outstanding quality, exceptional appeal and natural sheen not seen in traditional leathers. The notable difference in the cost is owed to its unique characteristics, but the durability of this material makes the added cost a worthy investment. And as Italian brands are truly recognized and have gained quite high respect in the fashion mainstream, the Italian leather itself became synonymous to the quality and respectable position in fashion of products associated with Italian manufacturing.

Though there are quite a number of places to find great-looking Italian leather driving gloves around, some people often do not get the genuine Italian type if they just go shopping anywhere. I sort of have learned that lesson myself from my old shopping habits. But then, I learned how everything I need is after all easy to find at Amazon. And with guaranteed quality of every product they put up for sale, you make the most of every dollar you spend. So if you’re looking trendy yet functional Italian leather driving gloves you could wear the next time you go clubbing with your girlfriends, and perhaps share the same fascination for leather like me, I might as well also share a few of my favorite picks.

Made of Italian lambskin leather, this one is my top choice when I’m headed for a truly special night.

I find its open back design sexy and the snap closure very convenient. As this design comes in purple and blue, I got myself the purple coz the shade of blue it comes in is quite too masculine for me. Its purple however, is just soooo perfect and does not limit me as to what to wear it with. I find the contrast color (white) very tasteful as it was put there minimally but truly did some magic to its look. For over $90, I have to agree it’s a little expensive, but with the product’s unique look and versatility, it makes the pricetag less an issue.

When I ordered this pair of Italian leather driving gloves, I was a bit weary on how it would feel once I have them on.

I like how it looked on the photo so I purchased them anyway. I got it in loden, though it is available in brown, tangerine and red as well. It turned out that this is the best $59 I ever spent. The pair was just so comfortable and soft, and is easy to tell how best the quality is.

My oldest pair, but will always be my favourite – - – my Women’s Open-back leather driving gloves is the true definition of simple yet elegant.

As I have it in black, it sort of had become my most reliable pair. I’ve used (or more like overused) the very same pair I have til today for over a while now, and they’re still holding up pretty well. There are many other shades, and am thinking about getting the one in rose on my next purchase. For just $59, I probably would also even get myself the medium brown and blue lagoon.

The pairs I have are living proofs that Italian leather do outlast time and different seasons. But most importantly, it’s quite amazing way of dressing up ‘not-so-dressy’ outfits is what make these things one of the best accessories a woman can ever own.

Not only men love to cruise around in their flashy sports cars or powerful big bikes in matching leather outfits to complete their look. Leather jackets, leather boots, leather wristbands, dark shades and even a matching cool, sleek hairstyle. And those small but very important driving accessory: the leather gloves. Used as protection or as a fashion statement, male drivers never seem to go out into the road without wearing this leather necessity. But women too have long ventured into the “driving world.” Whether in cars or motorcycles, women have learned to brave it out into the streets in the name of equality. And like men, women have grown an irresistible desire for leather driving gloves. And even when they’re just riding along a motorcycle with their hubby, women don’t want to be left out and so they “get into the gear”, too.

While men’s leather driving gloves usually come in classic colors of black and brown, women’s gloves come in more fun and creative shades of white, red, green, blue, violet, gold, and even pink! While men’s gloves tend to be more functional, that is, as protection from calluses from holding on to the steering wheel for too long, or as protection from the heat and cold, women’s gloves are designed more as a fashion accessory than a protective gear. Thus, they are more versatile when it comes to colors, designs and fabrics. Women’s leather driving gloves can be lined with luxurious fabrics of silk, cashmere and rabbit fur. At Leather Gloves Online, they have a wide collection of gloves in interesting combinations of designs and fabrics. They have the classic leather driving gloves, winter thinsulate lined driving gloves, winter leather, crochet and leather, zippered, with piping, lined open back, two-tone leather, leather gloves with contrasts welting and cashmere lined winter gloves that come in a rainbow of colors.

Women celebrities and rock stars are no exception. In fact, they developed a certain fascination for this driving accessory that it became a trend, an instant hit around the world especially to young, female teenagers who emulate their “idols.” Famous divas like Keri Hilson, Alicia Keys and Beyonce are cases in point. We can see them in some of their music videos sporting elegant, expensive leather gloves in pure Italian or French leather material. Complete with the whole leather outfit and a powerful motorcycle to match, these women project the whole “fierce feminine” aura symbolic of woman’s character today.

Women of today are stronger and powerful, much more than they were in the past. They have become ambitious and equate men in all fields. They want to appear strong yet still maintain that feminine look. So whether they’re driving or creating a fashion statement, leather gloves seem to be the perfect element of bringing out that personality of a dangerously sexy and seductive woman.

Leather driving gloves, or “riding” gloves as history suggests, were initially used to protect the driver’s hands from calluses when holding the horse’s or coach’s reins. When car were first invented, the steering wheel was made of wood or exposed metal, there was no insulation, and heating or cooling could not be controlled. Gloves were used to protect the driver’s hands from cold or heat.

But cars have come a long way since then. Most cars nowadays are equipped with high-tech gadgets like non-slip steering wheels or grooves to provide better grip. So gloves have become more of an accessory and in fact even a fashion statement than protection. Professional male race car or motorcycle drivers in particular use this driving accessory whenever they do their “serious” driving. But even regular male drivers have become attached to leather gloves as extension of their hands when they’re driving. Non-drivers alike use leather driving gloves as a fashion accessory, a fashion statement that seems to say: “I look dangerously cool.”

Men’s leather driving gloves come in many designs and fabrics that fit the “serious” driver or the male “fashionista.” From the classic fingerless design to elbow length as “protective gauntlets,” they come in assorted colors of leather made from luxurious Italian or French leather materials. They are made from exotic fabrics of either lambskin, kidskin, deerskin, cabretta and nappa leather. Hand or machine sewn, unlined or lined, from the extra small to the extra, extra large sizes, men have a variety of choices to fit their style and function. Damascus Gloves, Hatch Gloves, Berlin Gloves, Ram Tough Gloves, Raber Gloves and Reier Gloves are some of the famous manufacturers of men’s leather gloves, usually hailing from North America but also from practically all parts of the world.

The classic men’s leather driving gloves appear with an open back, knuckle cut outs, perforated leather along the fingers, an elasticized wrist for comfort and added flexibility, and snap closure for easy access. Designed for protection and ventilation for the hands, it is also fashionably designed to make the driver look cool. Amazon.com and LeatherGloves.com feature a wide array of men’s leather driving gloves selection of all styles and brands. Isotoner and Fratelli Orsini are two other popular brands creating quality and affordable leather driving gloves for men. Isotoner specializes in smooth driving gloves designed for maximum flexibility and comfort. Fratelli Orsini features quality Italian driving gloves at reasonable prices.

When you see a cool motorcycle or race car swoosh by, you can’t help but drool in envy. Especially if the driver is dressed to kill in his dark shades, black leather jacket, black leather boots, black leather gloves, and a sleek, cool hairstyle to match? There’s nothing in the world you would wish for at that moment than to be in his shoes…or in his gloves, so to speak, to drive that beautiful machine and look dangerously cool yourself. And speaking of gloves, we all notice that drivers, motorcycle or race car, always wear those black leather gloves to protect their hands from gripping on the steering wheel for a long time…and well yes, to look just damn cool.

But what are driving gloves in the first place and how did they come to be so popular nowadays not only as a protective gear but also as a fashion accessory? History has it that driving gloves were really “riding gloves.” People in the old times rode only on horses and coaches and they used gloves to protect their hands from calluses from holding the reins. When cars were first built, the steering wheels were made of either wood or uncovered metal. They had little insulation and there were no controls for the heat or air conditioning. During the winter, hands could become cold and stiff for driving. And when the weather was hot, it was difficult to grip on the steering wheel as hands could become sweaty and slippery. Gloves became a “natural extension” for drivers to protect their hands from calluses from gripping on those wood and metal steering wheels for a long time and for protection from the heat and cold. Moreover, not only do they improve a driver’s grip on the wheel, driving gloves also improve blood circulation on the hands.

Nowadays, driving gloves are used more as a fashion statement than protection. Many cars today, especially race cars used by professional drivers, have non-slip steering wheels or grooves for better grip. Yet drivers still use gloves, black leather gloves especially, as an “affectation,” necessity and accessory. Leather driving gloves today come in different styles and fabrics to match all driving needs or fashion sense. They are either made of elegant Italian or French leather and exotic fabrics such as lambskin, cabretta, kidskin, deerskin and nappa leather. Some even have heating elements for people who have arthritis. They come in a range of styles from fingerless to elbow length. Sizes fit from the extra small to especially large hands. They can be hand sewn or machine sewn. They can even be lined with silk, cashmere or rabbit fur. Manufacturers come from North America and around the world which design the best quality leather driving gloves of the finest detail.

Black leather gloves especially are the drivers’ favorite, or anyone’s for that matter. There’s something classic yet dangerously sexy about black leather that makes it irresistible and attractive to drivers and non-drivers alike. So whether you’ll use it to protect your hands when driving or create a fashion statement, get a grip on those black leather gloves!
